In addition, compared with the traditional slope protection method, the slope laid by HDPE geocell has higher vegetation coverage and stronger resistance to rain erosion. Dr Li, an environmental scientist, said: "HDPE geocell can help plant roots grow, form a stable ecological slope protection, and play a positive role in preventing soil erosion."

Combined with relevant research data at home and abroad, the application of HDPE geocell on sandy ground also shows obvious advantages. In a study of desert highway construction, HDPE geocell is used to fix sand layer. The results show that this method can effectively prevent dune movement, reduce wind erosion, and ensure the stable operation of the road.
