We all want to complete the project with the least amount of money, and the use of geocell is the right choice to save costs, because it is made of environmentally friendly and recyclable materials, and it is very convenient to use and is welcomed by domestic and foreign customers. So let me briefly describe the steps of laying.
1: On-site inspection
Before starting to install geocell, the site should be inspected to determine soil type, slope and drainage. This information is necessary for the design and planning of the geocell installation.
Step 2: Design
After completing the site inspection, the next step is to design the engineering plan. Environmental factors such as soil type, load condition, rainfall and temperature should be considered in the design.
3: Prepare the roadbed
Subgrade is the foundation of a road or building. The subgrade should be compacted, levelled and removed from any loose material, and the debris on the surface should be removed.
4: Installation
Unfold on the prepared roadbed. It is connected with fasteners to form a continuous honeycomb structure, and then fixed on the roadbed with dowel or wooden piles.
5: Fill
Fill the geocell with gravel, sand or soil to provide additional support and stability to the foundation.
After the first five steps have been completed, it is time to enter the final phase. After the geocell is filled, the surface is compacted and leveled. When protecting the slope, we can sprinkle grass seeds on the inside of geocell, sprinkle water and wait for the seeds to germinate and grow, and the whole project will be much more beautiful. Finally, the geocell is inspected regularly to ensure the effectiveness of the geocell.
