Slope protection
HDPE geocell is an excellent solution for slope protection as it provides excellent slope stability and reduces the risk of landslides. To use HDPE geocell for slope protection, please follow the steps below:
1. Prepare the site: Identify the areas that require attention to slope stability. Remove all loose soil or debris. Level the soil and establish a stable foundation.
2. Laying geocell chamber: Lay the geocell chamber on the prepared soil. Ensure that the geocell is flat and smooth. Connect the panels or strips of the geocell together using connectors or welding.
3. Fill the geocell: Fill the geocell with soil or other suitable filling materials. Compact the filling material until it is flush with the top of the geocell.
4. Increase vegetation: Plant vegetation at the top of the geocell to stabilize the slope and prevent further erosion.
Road reinforcement
HDPE geocell can be used for road reinforcement because it can evenly distribute loads on the road surface and significantly reduce road deformation. To use HDPE geocells for road reinforcement, it is recommended to take the following steps:
1. Prepare the site: Identify areas of concern regarding road deformation. Clean the road surface and remove any debris.
2. Laying geocell: Lay the geocell on the prepared road surface. Ensure that the geocell is flat and smooth. Connect the panels or strips of the geocell together using connectors or welding.
3. Anchoring the geocell: Use steel anchor rods or other suitable fasteners to anchor the geocell to the road surface.
4. Fill the geocell: Fill the geocell with asphalt material or other suitable filling material. Compact the filling material until it is flush with the top of the geocell.
5. Complete installation: Cover the road surface with asphalt or other suitable covering materials to reinforce the road surface.
