What is polypropylene geotextile

May 31, 2023

Polypropylene geotextile has excellent water permeability, filtration and durability, and can be widely used in railway, highway, sports hall, dam, hydraulic construction, Suidong, coastal mudflat, reclamation, environmental protection and other projects. There are mainly short fiber needle punched non-woven polypropylene geotextile and split film woven polypropylene geotextile.
Polypropylene geotextile function:
Utilizing the excellent breathability and water permeability of polypropylene geotextile to allow water flow through, effectively intercepting sand and soil loss.
Polypropylene geotextile has good water conductivity, which can form drainage channels inside the soil and discharge excess liquid and gas from the soil structure.
Utilizing geotextiles to enhance the tensile strength and deformation resistance of soil, enhance the stability of building structures, and improve soil quality.
Effectively diffuse, transfer, or decompose concentrated stress to prevent soil from being damaged by external forces.
Prevent mixing between upper and lower layers of sand, soil, and concrete.
The mesh is not easily blocked, as the network structure formed by amorphous fiber tissue has strain and mobility.
High permeability, able to maintain good permeability under the pressure of soil and water.
Corrosion resistant, using synthetic fibers such as polypropylene or polyester as raw materials, acid and alkali resistant, non corrosive, insect resistant, and antioxidant.
Simple construction
