1、 Old road surface treatment
1. The old road surface should be cleaned of dust, loose particles, and debris, and the surface should be kept dry. Level the sharp and abrupt parts on the road surface; For severely damaged or broken areas on the road surface, the broken parts should be removed and repaired with asphalt concrete. For roads with severe cracks or ruts, a 1-2 cm leveling layer needs to be paved.
2. Spraying asphalt adhesive layer oil
When using liquid petroleum asphalt as the adhesive layer oil, the atmospheric temperature is above 5 ℃; When emulsified asphalt is used for adhesive layer oil, the atmospheric temperature is above 10 ℃. During rainy days and when the road surface is damp after rain, it is not allowed to sprinkle adhesive layer oil. Pay attention to selecting the type and dosage of adhesive layer oil. Practice has shown that it is best to use asphalt modified with EVA or SBS, as these products have good crack resistance and thermal stability. If emulsified asphalt is used, its asphalt content must be greater than 60% in order to be effectively utilized.
Before laying the geotextile, sprinkle a layer of asphalt adhesive and extract, with a dosage of approximately 0? 4-0? 6kg/m2, then lay the geotextile, and then sprinkle a layer of the same type of adhesive layer oil on the geotextile, with a dosage of about 0? 5-0? 6kg/m2. The following points should be noted: (1) It is recommended to use hot asphalt adhesive sleeves, and maintain the oil temperature between 150 and 170 ℃; (2) The horizontal range of spraying adhesive layer oil should be 5-10cm wider than that of geotextile; (3) The spraying of adhesive layer oil should be uniform and the measurement should be accurate.
If using one pour of oil, the total amount of adhesive layer oil cannot be reduced, and the recommended value is 1? 0-1? 3kg/m2, oil temperature should not be lower than 180 ℃. One pouring of oil can easily lead to impermeable geotextile and delamination, resulting in peeling of the surface layer.
