Special Treatment for Geomembrane Construction

1. The intersection of the slope is the turning point of the dam slope: laying and welding are special cases, and special cutting should be made according to the actual situation to make the geomembrane tightly adhere to the dam slope base. Otherwise, it may cause "hanging" or "bulging" phenomenon.
Key points of construction: In this area, operators should carefully measure and cut the geomembrane into inverted trapezoidal shapes with wide top and narrow bottom.
2. At the intersection of the slope and bottom of the reservoir area, there are many blind ditches in the design.
Construction points: First, lay the geomembrane along the dam surface at a distance of 1.5 meters away from the blind ditch
Then connect to the bottom membrane of the warehouse; The welding of the adjacent two frames is: first weld them well, and then press them into the blind ditch.
3. Connection between dam pipe and geomembrane (see schematic diagram): First, cut the HDPE geomembrane into trumpet shaped pipe sleeves according to the diameter of the leachate passing through the dam pipe, divide them into 6-8 small pieces, and then insert the pipe sleeves into the dam pipe in order of size. Then, adjust the position of the pipe sleeves appropriately and temporarily fix them with a hot air welding gun. The pipe sleeves should not have any suspended parts. Finally, weld the large and small sockets of the pipe sleeve onto the HDPE geotextile film and leachate penetration pipe, and reinforce them with stainless steel hoops.
