Geotextile is a geotechnical material with high strength, high toughness and good weather resistance. It is widely used in water conservancy projects, traffic projects, municipal projects, environmental protection projects and other fields.
1. Storage of geotextiles
During the storage process of geotextiles, attention should be paid to preventing precipitation, sun exposure, moisture, high temperature and other factors. Avoid contact with hooks and other objects to avoid damage.
2. Laying of geotextile
During the laying process of geotextile, the geotextile should be laid flat on the ground without wrinkles or creases. And after the laying is completed, use special tools to beat and level it to ensure complete contact between the geotextile and the ground. At the same time, the contact points between the geotextile and other materials should be strengthened to prevent loosening or falling off.
3. Welding of geotextile
Welding is an important link in geotextile construction. When welding, a special high-frequency welding machine should be used, and the operation should be strictly carried out in accordance with the welding temperature, welding time, welding strength and other indicators. Experimental samples should be tested before actual welding to ensure welding quality.
4. Fixation of geotextile
Special materials should be used for fixing geotextiles, such as piles and bridges. When fixing, care should be taken to avoid damaging the geotextile, and the fixing points should be set according to the design requirements. At the same time, the contact between the fixing points and the geotextile should be ensured to be firm and reliable.
5. Testing of geotextiles
After construction is completed, the geotextile should be tested. The testing content includes the uniformity, thickness, porosity, tear strength, UV radiation level, etc. of the geotextile. If problems are discovered, they should be dealt with promptly.
